chance me and i will chance back

Your chances do look good for all of those schools actually, i think syracuse is the easiest in for you out of all of those.
Good luck

Seriously, that's what reaches are all about. You should definitely apply to USC, if you have interest. Try to get some kind of interview there or something. I wish I had applied, even though it's a reach for me, too. Besides, if you can get your test scores up, I'd call it a low reach/high match. And they like community service a lot, so you still have time to up your community service activities, if you want.

Go for it.

Have you thought of Georgia tech? I dont know how it compares to the others that you listed, but it is a pretty good science/engineering school...

University of the Pacific is not that hard to get into, I think. Sorry, Im not familiar with the other schools you listed..

But, some other schools you could consider are USC and Carnegie Mellon (which have good engineering schools) after you get that 30+ :]

You're for sure in everywhere except Rochester where it's more uncertain. Your scores are a little low, so I hope you get that 30+ on your retake!!

Best of luck!

in at all those listed.

bump 10char

If you aim for above a 2000 on your SAT's, I'd say you're in for all of them. Maybe a bit more community service? Still, the EC's that you do have are very strong. A girl I know got into Rochester with a 1950 and not many extracurriculars. And she took three APs throughout highschool with ~15% ranking.

Alright, well I think you've got a pretty good shot at all of those, you'll just have to wait for SAT scores to be sure. I don't know too much specifically about the requirements, just general things, but you're looking pretty good. As stressed said above, some more community service couldn't hurt. Good luck, PM with any questions!

And thanks for chancing me!

Now, I am new to this whole college process, so I am not going to tell you I know where you are good at, etc. But, I will say that I have two cousins who went through the college process at 'non descript Arizona high schools' and they had difficult times. If you want to get out of Arizona, I would suggest putting in a lot of work on your own time, cause your school will first try to get you to go to ASU, U of A, or NAU.

I mean, I can see you in the running for basically all of those schools. When you take the SAT, if you get over 2000, which you probly can with studying, I'd say IN for all.

Whenever you chance me back, can you tell me what "bump" means lol I always see it on these types of threads...

university of the pacific - in
syracuse - in
florida institute of technology - in

work on your ECs though, good luck with junior year =)

Thanks for chancing me!!
U of R- Low Reach
CWRU- High Match
Pacific- low match/safety
Syracuse- Match
Florida Tech- Safety

all ur schools seem to be safeties or matches so good luck. though id recommend bringing up ur sat/act to 2000/30 and u should be set

I agree; Rochester is a bit of a stretch. Case Western may also be harder for you to get into than the others, but you'll probably get in there. The rest of the schools I'd say you're probably in.
