[thread=1152938]Chance me back please[/thread]

thanks for the replys. Is there anything that I can improve my chances at Yale and WUStL?

You could probably write an awesome essay about your orientation and that would certainly help <<diversity>>…but seems as though you have a good shot…but im not too familiar with international applicants</diversity>

Tufts- Match
Yale- High Reach
Emory- In
NYU- In
Brown-Reach
WUSTL- High Match
Tulane- In

Thanks everybody - anybody else?

Going to say everyone’s being very snobbish today you are an impressive candidate and seem to fit the bill for what Brown and WUSTL look for in a student, but I say it’s a 50/50 shot at either of them (that does not mean you’ll get into 1 of the 2, by the way).

Tufts has gotten more selective and has recently hit the 18% admit rate this year with it expected to drop to 16% or less next year. They tend to like quirky students with a big focus on community giving and volunteering – I’d say it’s more likely than not you’d get into Tufts, but don’t be surprised at a waitlist or two somewhere

So, for the CC-related-terms:
Tufts- High Match/Low reach
Yale- Reach
Emory- In
NYU- You’ll get in
Brown- Reach
WUSTL- Reach
Tulane- You’ll get in

Thanks everyone- you’ve really made my day. I read all of these amazing applicants on CC who get rejected from top schools, which freaks me out… but it’s nice to know I stand a chance! Thank you all again :)

Yale may be a reach, but the others seem like good chances. You have some very unique ec’s so try to focus on those to show how well rounded you are. Good luck!
Chance back please?

Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using CC App

Tufts- short reach
Yale- HIGH Reach
Emory- Solid
NYU- Solid
Brown- high Reach
WUSTL- Reach
Tulane- Solid

thanks - anyone else?? : )

yale and brown are always shots in the dark for everyone but brown might appreciate your more unique aspects–there aren’t too many scuba divers around! other than that, i’d say tufts, WUSTL, and emory are solid match schools where you stand a good chance of acceptance. you’ll definitely get into NYU and Tulane.
