Chance Me Anyone?

<p>Hey guys! So I've already applied to all my colleges and am just looking for a couple of chances at any of my schools. I've applied RD to Harvard, Yale, Pomona College, Stanford, Columbia, and USC. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>Background:
Ethnicity/Gender: Asian Male
School: Small public school, most of the students are Asian
Income bracket: >200,000
Hooks: My dad went to Harvard and my mom went to Yale. My older sister goes to Stanford.</p>

<p>Current Class ranking: 2/320
Cum GPA through fall semester of senior year: 3.992
SAT: 2390 (790 critical reading, 800 math, 800 writing, 12 on essay)

-Julliard pre-college summer program</p>

<p>Dance:
-Danced for more than 12 years
-Winner of numerous state competitions and national competitions
-Attended Bolshoi ballet summer dance company for two years
-ABT summer internship
-Performed with ballet company at World Expo</p>

<p>Research:
-Worked at large cancer research facility for two years and is listed as one of the authors on published paper</p>

<p>Volunteering/Leadership:
-Volunteered for 300 hours at cancer hospital
-President of associated student body at high school
-President of nonprofit organization that gives performances every year and donates all proceeds to victims of natural disasters (raised upwards of $20,000 two years ago, $30,000 last year, and $55,000 this year)
-Perform piano at nursing homes and schools to introduce students to and entertain the elderly with music
-Perform ballet at many charity events with rest of ballet company</p>

<p>Essay:
Talks about growing out my hair and then cutting it off; really personal</p>

<p>Recs:
Going to have great recs from my chem and lit teachers</p>

<p>I mean most of these schools are reach for anybody but you have the right stats and you have the added advantage of being a legacy and judging by your income bracket your mom and dad probably donates a fair amount so you got a good chance at harvard and yale.</p>

<p>by good chance I mean better then most not that your a lock or anything</p>
