Hi everyone!
I’m a U.S citizen living abroad in Yerevan, and I attended local school most of my life and I transferred to an international school for high school.
Here are my stats:
SAT: not taking it here because my family is a high risk, and where I live has one of the highest COVID-19 cases per capita.
AP: APUSH (5), AP COGO (4), AP HUG (4) AP HISTORY (4). taking 7 in my senior year AP macro/micro, research, calc AB, computer science principles, Art History, Envi Sci.
I ended the junior year with a 3.99 avg, and hopefully with a 4.0 my first semester this fall my total unweighted GPA would be a 3.9.
Extracurriculars: Started National almost international youth NGO (was the first teenager who was under 18 to register an NGO) with backing from the UNICEF, and various gov institutions and organizations.
Co-founder of an environmentally sustainable startup which has received gov grants, and recognition from silicon valley.
I’ve been a member of the MUN club since freshman year, and we have traveled to different conferences around the world. We managed to do 4 before COVID hit, and I received 3 best delegate awards at three of them.
Nominated as the first high school intern to serve in the office of the president through my NGO efforts.
Previously a member of our school track and field and basketball teams. Received first and second place in an international track meet and received fourth place in an international basketball competition abroad. I am also a national golf player as well.
get ready to laugh: I was the volunteer coordinator at the world’s biggest IT conference here, and I assisted putting together Kardashian family’s excursions around the country, and eventually became their production assistant for one of their episodes (I’m not sure ill put this on my app, doesn’t seem too flattering). I also assisted Richard Clarke and other guests.
At school, I was nominated to serve on the faculty environmental committee, have been class representative for fresh, soph, and hopefully a senior year. I’m also a member of our NHS chapter.
My essays: I grew up in a very complicated environment, my mom is a born and bred American, while my father was a villager who was one of the main people who started the war here (won’t specify which one for my own safety). I’m going to question my background especially my father’s decisions, and how it has impacted me in my essay. I want to show how passionate I am about government and international relations through my essay.
Please let me know what you think!
