So I’ve never done a “chance me” before because usually you can get a pretty good idea of your “odds” just via any school’s admissions website or through College Board. Also, I’m only a junior, so it seems silly to do one of these this early. However, I’m realizing more and more that different schools weigh different areas in different ways, so if someone can tell me how I’ll stack up at any or all of the following schools, that would be HUGELY appreciated, especially because our school has us pick our classes for next year this week and it’d be nice to have some direction for senior year. I know these colleges are all over the place in their difficulty and in the types of programs they offer, but I’m just trying to get a feel for how they are different as far as admissions go.

- Boy Scouts (I am an Eagle Scout)
- National Honor Society (running for president, though elections aren’t in)
- Student Ambassadors (will be on executive board as a senior)
- Athletics
- Varsity XC (since Freshman year; I’ve won coach’s award and will be captain next year)
- Varsity Indoor and Outdoor Track (since Freshman year; I will be captain of these teams next year as well)
- Freshman year I was on the state champion 4x800 team and Cross Country team
- Total of 9 Varsity Letters by the end of this year

- Selected to go to HOBY Leadership Conference (only nominee from school)
- Selected to go to Salesian Leadership Camp in Michigan (one of only 3 nominees per school)
- Part of a mission trip going to serve the poor in the Dominican Republic this summer
Portfolio-wise, I’d describe myself as moderate. I’m hoping to get some more work in over the summer. Any advice for particular schools in this area would also be fantastic.
