*i know that my EC's are a little weak, but thats b/c im so focused on basketball. my school is really good in bball. this year we had one player going to ASU, another Army, we were in state championship last year, and U of A comes to our open gyms to scout us. unfortunately, im not sure if colleges will know how good my HS team is and i dont think many people know how much a commitment basketball is (countless hours shooting, lifting, conditioning, playing, etc). any ideas on how to improve my EC's? Thanks for your input!

How much scholarship money would i be looking at from Cal? would it be possible for me to get a full ride or close to it from my stats?

No chance. Just kidding. Obviously you have a very good shot. As far as scholarships, I would imagine that you would do well. You should try to walk on to the Bball team. God knows we need basketball players.

I would be VERY surprised if you didn't get in. You have great chances.

impressive. bball, academics, and poetry. its pretty obvious that you will get in and will do well in terms of scholarships but im sure you know that. whats the point of starting this thread?

ehh.. i don't know... your class rank is kind of low.

always tough for an out-of-stater
my friend had higher stats and didn't get in
but i'd say your chances are decent

since cal is a public school, would i get good scholarship money as a out of stater or is most of the money reserved for in state residents?

Match. Wouldn't be too surprised if you got rejected, as there are many with similar stats in state that got rejected this year. It's starting to look like a real crapshoot, but you seem to have good chances.

Whoops, I overlooked that you're OOS. In that case, I would say that you're a match. There's still a chance that you might not get accepted, but I believe odds would be in your favor of getting accepted.
