I'm going to be a senior in High school. Played 4 years of football & going to be 4 years of track and field.

I am not an Indiana resident. I'm from Illinois.

GPA is 3.6
In my Jr. year i got all A's except honors physics.
As my high school years went on, my grades have gotten better.
Throughout high school, I took an engineering course called Project Lead the way and earned college credit through that program.

My act is 26.
my math act was 30.
my english was 28.

My 2 older brothers both graduated from Purdue school of engineering.

**So, big question. What are my chances of being accepted into Purdue's engineering school?

**Another question, does Purdue only look at the English and Math portion of the SAT/ACT tests?

They would look at all the portions, most importantly the composite. I would say that you have a good shot at Purdue(the arts and sciences college, or anything else), but the engineering I would say is maybe a high reach/low match. Having a legacy will help you, but your GPA might be a little low for engineering, as is your test score, and your EC’s are fine, but they don’t indicate any interest in engineering. Purdue’s engineering is the hardest school to get into there. Are you a good enough athlete to play/run at Purdue? Are you sure you want to be an engineer? (if your only reason is both your brothers did it, that’s a bad one). Also what other schools are you considering? I would ask your brothers about this, they probably would know way more about your chances than us haha. Good Luck!
