Thank you in advance for your comments!!!

i was also looking at applying to these schools but had no clue how i was going to afford it, how are you planning on affording these expensive schoools? thanks for the input

scholarships, grants, work study, and i'll probably have to take out student loans and pay them back over 20 years...lol. Also, the Honors College program I'm in pays for everything and gives us a stipened, so I've been fortunate enough to be able to set some money aside that I can use for the next two years.

while sat's are usually of minimal importance for junior xfer, your math sat's are waaaaay low for a business major

you should be in at some of the easier schools on your list (u of florida, u wisc-madision, probably babson as well), the other schools you should have a decent shot at although the<600 on your math sat scores may be a bit worrisome for some b schools

best of luck

how are you going to get a transfer scholarship? they seem impossible to come by

duffle:

thanks for your input. true, my math sat scores are reaaally low compared to the averages at those schools, especially the business schools. i'm hoping my demonstrated leadership and upward grade tend, allowing with a challenging course load (19 credits this semester and my last semester) will show that even I sucked hard in the SAT math section, i can handle college level math-work.

tcf:
I'm applying for scholarships from companies, non-profit organizations, etc. They're usually in the amount of $500-$2000 but anything helps. Check out fastweb.com. Also, PTK is an orgnization that helps students from 2 year colleges find transfer scholarships.

typos
*"followed" with a challenging...
*even "though" I sucked...

what is PTK?

I think your chances are good. You have a high GPA, good rank, and awesome ECs. Just write a really well written essay. Write about something you're passionate about.

PTK=Phi Theta Kappa, a two-year college international honor society.

thank you smartypants.

bump.....?

In everywhere for sure except nyu/cornell/uva/emory being more of a challenge. Have you finished the prereqs for those four schools yet? I know they are quite picky on that.

I've checked the requirements for each of their respective business schools and, for the most part, I cover all of the pre-requisites. Georgetown, for example, requires theology classes, so I'm taking philosophy and world religion to be on the safe side. Also, I didn't know that Emory had a P.E. requirement for fresh/sophs, but transfers can take that junior/senior year. Thank you kula!
