Possible ELC candidate if i was how would it boost my chances</p>

<p>Foreign language - French 3 years Spanish 1 year</p>

<p>work exp.
100 hours of community service
I help out in random charity events, so I have good experience in leadership
should I intern? Would getting a job over the summer increase my chances?? I heard that it does.........</p>

3 years Varsity CSF Champion on badminton team
3 years Paintball Team Co-Captain played in tournaments</p>

Rising star award - rookie year

<p>USC's a reach. I don't know about percentages, but I'd there is around an 5% chance you will get accepted there.</p>

<p>well if u got the spots in the lower UCs ur good. but UCI, UCSD,UCSB, UCB, UCSC, UCLA, and USC look like reaches for u because u took regular classes only and no APs or honors. id say good luck getting into those schools even with those outstanding clubs, leadership, ec, and sports etc. now if ur were a student with that GPA with APs or Honors then u would have a clear shot at most of them but like i said, regular classes wont help u here. just my thought. SDSU ur in fosure haha</p>

<p>If i took like 2 IB englsih and history classes and got A's. Lets say if my gpa was a 4.1 would my shots be increased</p>

<p>They dont look at ur cumulative GPA. You have to come up with your UC gpa. The fact that you did not take many honors or any AP's will definitely weaken your UC gpa. At that, since you are guaranteed a spot the lower tier UC's,</p>

UCB: 15%
UCSD: 26%</p>

<p>^ agree. if ur taken the IBs during junior year then its a plus but if ur taking them during senior year, it helps a little but not a lot.</p>
