3.71 GPA 1700 SAT:

USD: Match-Safe Match

A 3.71 Weighted GPA and 1700 SAT should be plenty to get you into USD.

San Diego is a wonderfull city to go to college in. I went to UCSD, and while UCSD is sort of a nerdy school, I found the city of San Diego absolutely incredible. In my opinion it is the finest city in the country. And the weather and beaches dont exactly hurt either.

Yea exactly. It is a wonderful place to live in. So i will not need to go ED to USD?

And if you don't mind would you happen to know my chances at Santa Clara and Loyola Marymount.

Thanks.

loyola marymount and santa clara would also be around matches or safe matches. they are similar in competiveness to usd. if usd is your top choice then i would apply to ed just to be safe. but you should be a match or possibly safe match at the three schools.

If you get your sat up to 1750 or possibly close to 1800, these schools would deffiantly become safe matches. Best of luck!

Thanks. Thanks a lot

would it be a close to safety match if i applied ED to santa clara?

Santa Clara is the easiest i would imagine out of the three schools you listed (USD, Loyola Marymount, Santa Clara). ED should make it a safe match. If you are looking for privates in California that are similar in competiveness to the three schools you've listed, I would also consider applying to Pepperdine as well. Best of luck!

Yeah I will be applying to Pepperdine... The only thing is, I am Jewish. I have asked this question before but i have always been curious. I am relgious and I attend Temple and I know that is good. Do my chances go down because I am Jewish, do they go up or... what?

Thanks

Pepperdine needs diversity, so being jewish probably isn't a bad thing. They can't discriminate against you anyways....
