attend Williams, but quite some time ago. Still, I am actively engaged as an alum and return to campus often. And yes, I had an incredible social experience there, met most of my best friends to this day, had a tremendous academic experience, and later made great connections through the alumni network, which helped in my career. The school is, like all schools, not for everyone, but I do believe (and often hear this even from non-Ephs) that there is a weirdly intense lifelong bond with both the school and with other alums among the substantial portion of Williams alums who really love their college experience. The combo of the relative isolation (cited by many as a detriment, but to me an advantage), the spectacular natural setting, the charm of the town, the type of students who are attracted there, the sense of community among all who work and attend the school, and the sheer number of quirky, unique-to-Williams traditions that endure for decades, make it a very special place, and contribute to the immediate bond that many Ephs feel with one another. Certainly, I’ve never felt even remotely as strong a bond to any other institution with which I’ve been affiliated (although to be fair, a big part of that is surely the nature of the undergrad experience, generally speaking).

Wow! Williams College simply sounds amazing!
Also, I am planning to attach an EC resume on my Additional Section of Common Apps. Do you think that is a good idea?
