@volleyballgirl96‌ : Most of these will be reaches because you are either below the 50% or slightly above it. In addition, the engineering schools, for those that have them are even more selective. Even with legacy, Both Penn entities will be a reach (the course “could” help). Your best chances may be Emory, Wake Forest, and Boston College,Lehigh (Emory and BC I think are slightly more selective stats. wise than WF and Legigh. If the BC numbers are for those offered admission, then Emory is the most selective out of the 4) and maybe GeorgeTown as its stats. are a little lower than the others (they are kind of like in between those 4 and the other schools). The ECs are solid, but kind of standard for applicants at these places. I went to Emory, so I know they’ll love your community involvement, but honestly one weakness you could even have for them is the fact that Emory is looking to diversify its incoming classes a bit more. To see another pre-business, pre-engineering, or pre-med student with lots of community involvement may be kind of dull without huge awards, but luckily the athletic ability offsets that, and since Emory is D-3, it values a strong athlete/scholar. They would likely want to understand exactly why you are considering these two tracks for undergraduate instead of say…doing science and engineering (to gain a quantitative/science background. Or you can maybe double major in the b-school and pick a science major, take lots of math courses, and then apply to grad. school in engineering. Who knows?) and then pursuing an MBA later. As in, it would seem strange because you are picking specific interests in more or less high paying and “safe” UG tracks. Be careful how you sell that in your essays…

Also, do take into account that some schools will look at the AP scores, so you should probably break down how you did on those. Engineering entities will certainly look at performance on the science and math AP exams.

You seem like a good candidate EC wise, but I can only chance based on stats. because the EC’s are great but “normal” in a sense. You may also want to look into the culture of the schools and see how it aligns with your academic and social orientation. Like, if you are an intense pre-professional, but you like to play sports and genuine engagement with EC’s, Penn and Emory (though careful with this one again. Evidence suggests we are trying to escape this identity using the admissions process. Penn, ND, and NU seem relatively comfortable with it. ND, in fact, literally has a major called “pre-professional studies”) may be okay fits (but you may actually get to play varsity at Emory since it is D-3. Intramural is also big), and maybe ND and NU. If you view yourself as more intellectual, then the other schools may be better. It will be easier to tailor your essays and apps. towards schools whose orientation you match instead of those with high prestige/are really good, but you don’t match that well.

Nothing in particular stands out from your ECs. Everyone applying to those schools would be doing the same things that you are. Do something to make yourself different, a unique interest or hobby is great. For schools such as brown, your sat score is too low. You’ll need to retake to get over 2200 if you intend to apply. Make sure you take at least one SAT 2; I think you should choose math 2 and physics.
Legacy might help you a tad bit, but still a reach for UPenn
Matches: Norte Dame, Emory, Lehigh Boston college, and Wake Forest
The others are reaches.

.

Notre Dame is not a match: It is more statistically selective than GeorgeTown. Stats are higher there. You might as well say GT is a match too.

Lehigh may be your best bet if you don’t raise your SAT score. Good combination of engineering and business.
