Planning on Self Studying AP Stats

Expecting a 3.8-4.0 this year, junior year i only took two Aps and got a 3.5 and second semester 3.5 cause Apush teacher screwed me over with a C, the reason my GPA is so low is cause Fresh/Soph year there was serious illness in my family and it was terrible my sophmore year second semester because I ended up injuring myself and needed surgery and there was no one to look after my sick parents (One who had brain surgery and the other with Thyroid Cancer), so my school grades dropped because of that, I am on a huge Upward Trend ending with hopefully a 3.8 or 4.0 Senior year.

One of my parents went to a college I listed above if that helps (BU)

I’d say your a match for all of them except Michigan, NYU, and Ga. Tech which are all low reaches. That said your sat scores compensate for the low gpa and the fact you had serious illness and more will be taken into account. You have a pretty good chance of getting into all of the schools you listed I believe.

you have a great chance with that SAT SCORE but your GPA is bit low for the schools (unless you acually get a 3.8 senior year)
you have a chance at most schools
Great chance at PSU-UP
Great chance at UW-M, Texas AM, UoM,
CU-boulder is a super safe
UM,BU,And NYU are reach
UC davis is low match CHANCE ME BACK PLEASE

Honestly, I think you will get into UCD. just remember to tell them what you have been through though! I am not an expert to the other schools. sorry!

I personally think you are just fine given your situation; if you point out somewhere that explains why you did not do so well in High School as others that would put almost every college at match.

Quick q though. Is your schedule considered pretty challenging for your class? If it is above the average student course load then you are just fine.
