ABOUT MY SUBJECT TEST SCORES.
I took it only once and that was June this year. I was not thoroughly prepared for any of the tests, especially physics because I only took one beginner course on physics. I've studied since then and I'm ready. I'm taking the December Subject Test for the same subjects and this time I KNOW I will do better. Don't rate me WITH the SAT subject test scores because I already know I will be rejected from CMU and NYU for those scores.

CMU and NYU are my dream schools. I have the SAT scores for these schools. I'm just not good-GPA wise. I've written quite a essay and a supplement. So try and factor those in.

Drexel and Penn State. I'm just wondering if I should use those as my safety schools. I'm "pretty" sure I can get into Penn. I'm not so sure about Drexel.

The NAVSEA program looked REALLY good on his transcript. Stanford really liked the fact that he took part in such a program. Does getting my friend into Stanford count as “work experience”? lol.

Drexel and PS i’d say def in, are you hoping for Schreyer at PS? and for CMU, its iffy but i’d say its a good choice for a reach. if its CS/CEng might be a higher reach. and also… are you tryin to do the NYU/NYU-Poly dual degree for Eng? It may be in your best interest to either pick one or the other, or major in physics @ NYU (thats what i plan on doing, that way i have more leniency in what i do after undergrad). anyways, i’d say NYU is a fairly good chance of acceptance. I’m very similar to you actually, so I sincerely hope its a target lol

@yayoiii i think he meant the NAVSEA got his friend into Stanford
