chance me! + colleges with good premed/dental programs?

I'm a junior now and I'm looking into colleges right now ....

I really want to get a rough idea of what are my chances/ if the schools that i'm interested in really match up to what i want

I want a school that's in a relatively large metropolitan setting (I grew up in seoul, which is packed with 10 million ppl)
But, I really don't want to be just a number in my class/ I hate places where the TAs teach everything....at the same time, I don't want to go to a school that's so small that everyone is just caught up in this bubble
I want a school that has a strong biology program/ sends a lot of students to dental schools (yes, I want to be a dentist)

so far, I've considered for 7yr dental accelerated programs: upenn (my dream),boston u, nyu, villanova, muhlenberg, case-western , lehigh, u of pacific

And for just normal colleges: brown, jhopkins, rice, northwestern

here are my stats so you can get a rough idea

if you chance me, i'll chance you back! :)

Do you realize that intls rarely get accepted to US med or dental schools? Those schools are to prepare American doctors. Many of these schools will not admit ANY intls. Some might accept one or two and not every year.

hey! so, as an international student, you’re at a slight disadvantage. But, you should still apply to the places you want to apply to and be as passionate as possible. These colleges really look for individuals that jump out of the mainstream 4.0/2400 sat score pool-maybe you are one! Chancing is difficult to do but, you are a strong candidate. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get rejected or accepted but…my friend had the same number stats as you and was rejected ED. she even made it to their summer programs as well as cornell’s! So look for things that describe who YOU are, and work on them so that you stand out!

*my friend was rejected from
Upenn

med schools rarely accept internationals, but DENTAL schools definitely do.
I know 10 intl students in 7yr dental programs/ dental schools who are not from english-speaking countries (not Canada or Australia)
