Reccommendations: APUSH and World Cultures Honors Teacher (loves me), alumnus of U of C and NU, along with my Physics teacher, who likes me, but I don't know where he went.

get ur SAT scores up and show passion for ur ecs in ur essays and in general. For most of these schools, essays are also what get u in, nevertheless it’s a crapshoot.

Anyway, after that, u should be fine, u will get into at least one of em. Might want to consider doing Early Action to Chicago or ED to penn or columbia, that will also help.

I’m doing ED to Columbia, who allows EA to others, so I’ll do EA Chicago as well (along with all my backups)

Do you think its a safe bet I’ll get into NYU and BC?

@ Chicago701 Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t ED indicate full commitment to one school and so that no EA or ED to any other school is allowed?

You can only apply ED to one school. But the number of EA’s you can apply for is unlimited, as long as the school is not SCEA, in which case you can only apply to one SCEA school.

You can apply early action to chicago while applying early decision to another school. Most early decision schools allow you to apply early action to other schools. The only one I know of that doesn’t is Brown. I applied early decision to Penn and early action to Chicago, so when I got into Penn I withdrew my Chicago application.

Might look at Holy Cross-similar to Boston College(both very good Jesuit schools).

columbia and nyu (BU, BC are safeties for you)

thanks.

anybody chance me for Penn, Stanford, U of C, NU?
