Chance me? (Complicated)

Hi ladies and gents, a little background info;

I live in Canada, in a low-income city, currently attending a miniscule quality school. The facilities and teachers are of poor standard, and this results in dysfunctional learning. Growing up here and resulting of the community/school, I've developed not-so-great habits. I really want to go to a boarding school, I know they have so many opportunities and I want to take advantage of them to reach my full potential (I'm positive I can do more than now). The learning environment here is actually depressing, though I am trying my best.

I'd just like to be chanced, although I have little hope of getting into any boarding school.

My school goes by semesters (4 courses in a 5 month period per sem).

Current courses:

Dance - B, most likely (They rarely give out grade reports, only at the end. I really enjoy dance, even though I am just a beginner. I plan to continue taking classes during my lifetime)

Math - C, possibly (Only 2 people in a class of 30 are receiving B's. I'm trying my best to be better, but the teacher is a big factor. You may think I'm putting this all on her, but I'm not, many students' parents want to talk to the principal about her)

PE - B, most likely (Same as dance, they rarely give out reports)

Marketing - A (Extremely easy course, not one I planned on taking)

Next sem (Late jan to june):
Socials 11
English 11
Biology 11
Chemistry 11

Extracurriculars:
Red Cross Club
Interact (Rotary) Club
Recreation & Leadership Training
Library Club
Amnesty International Club

Possibly taking up Salsa or Environment Club. I'm not sure if I should though.

I missed the deadline to tryout for sports teams this season (and I probably wouldn't have made it, they only keep high-quality players. Which lessens my opportunities even more, because I would've had to start in grade 8, which I wasn't there for). Next season is basketball, and they have their team already set.
Spring season, I'll be trying for;
Track&Field
Tennis
Field Hockey
Soccer

I want to have more volunteer hours/opportunities, but I don't know where to go to find them.

Two of my current courses were ones I had no choice in taking, all others courses were full. We have ~2500 kids in this small school, and we have many exchange students taking up classes even though they stay 2~5months, and (only few) 10months. I don't have many excelling traits about me (I made a huge mistake in my school life, long story), which lowers my chances abundantly.

I most likely put TOO much information, but my dream is to attend boarding school, where I can achieve highest success for life. I know with these grades, I don't have a chance at all though.
Please give blunt opinions of this mess, and possible solutions?

Thank you all for reading and replying. It's appreciated!

I forgot to add;

I’m currently in Grade 11 (I think) and would be applying for Grade 11 again, if it’s possible with the BS. I’m fine with learning the concepts over again, because I’d rather learn it from an excellent teacher than a miniscule one. Since grade 11 is important, this would be more useful, I could develop better habits. I’m also 15, born '96. I’m technically supposed to be in grade 10, but I did homeschooling to go a grade higher, because I thought it would be more efficient.

If you have any questions or need more info, feel free to ask.
Any advice is appreciated.

If you put how (however cliche it sounds) much you will benefit from boarding school compared to your current school and how much you will benefit the boarding school, I think that’s a real hook.

For math: what math class are you taking/equivalent of what math class (eg. Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus)? You could scrape up the money to buy a used textbook from EBay or something to set the teacher aside and enhance your own experience in math.

I agree with AlexMac, try to show how much you look forward to improving your knowledge because you can’t get it where you are. And also, you have internet, so you can do many, many things with it.

I live in Mexico. In my small town, schools offer little to none electives. I used to be frustrated at that, but now I just look for other options to learn. I used a Korean boy’s youtube videos to learn how to play guitar and I’m learning piano by ear. I’m using an ebook and a website to learn Japanese. There are many alternatives out there, you just have to find them. Show boarding schools that you have the motivation and that you’re learning despite bad teachers and schools. I think that will show them that you’ll use the resources you are offered to your best advantage if they accept you, and that’s a big plus.
