Chance me? (Cornell and RPI)

Hello everyone, I’m going to be a senior by the end of the summer and I think it would be worth it to start thinking about my chances of getting into certain colleges. I would like your input about my chances of getting into Cornell ED, and RPI regular decision. ( I want to be a physics major). I’ll start by writing my transcript instead of GPA. This is because my school has an unorthodox scale and will most likely be meaningless to you):

ECs: My ECs are okay. I was on the varsity tennis team since freshmen year. Staff writer on High school Newspaper. Member of the Debate team. 200 volunteer hours. Ranked in tennis outside of school.

I know my grades in Freshmen and Sophomore year were terrible. However, with my drastic improvement Junior year and my SAT scores, do you guys think I have a chance at getting into these schools?

Thanks so much.

What’s your GPA (UW and W)?

you are getting into RPI i have a friend whos stats are absolutely terrible in comparison to yours and he got in. cornell id be very surprised if you did not get in too

My school GPA is a 4.36

RPI: Match/Safety
Cornell: Match/Low Reach

However, Cornell is honestly a coin flip geared in your favor. It really matters on how much the admissions officer believes your upward trend with be sustained in college.
