Some of my hobbies include skiing, mixing music, volunteer work, and computer programming.

I know that my GPA is quite low but there has been an obvious upward trend since my freshman year.

Thank you for reading.

Wow congratulations on the 36! Your GPA will certainly hurt you at Ivies (Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell, Penn) but you will still have a shot because of your ACT scores. Also, some schools at those Ivies are much harder to get into than others (i.e. Wharton @ Penn), so it depends on where your interests lie and what school you’re applying to within the Ivies.

Dartmouth: Low Reach
Brown: High Match/Low Reach (Brown generally takes a more ‘holistic view’ on applicants)
Cornell: High Match/Low Reach (Generally easiest of Ivies to get in to)
Penn: Low Reach
Vandy: Match
Duke: High Match/Low Reach (if OOS only)
USC: Match
Texas: Low Match/Safety
Miami: Safety
