Well its hard to tell without an unweighted GPA but your ACT scores definitely make all of those schools reaches.

My thread (chance please): <a href=“Chances for Vanderbilt, UNC, NYU, UF, and Duke? - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1610985-chances-for-vanderbilt-unc-nyu-uf-and-duke-p1.html</a></p>

@sloth83 my unweighted is 3.999 I go to a small charter school and was only able to take a few honors classes. :-* I’ll chance you now. THNAKS!

If you can get your ACT higher it is critical for IVY league

Chance me please

@canwego well in that case, your GPA is excellent and you should have a slightly better shot at those schools if you can bring your ACT up.

@sd9754 it’s too late I already applied

GPA is good, ACT is fairly low but could be worse… It’s hard to tell without more information, but I would say it really depends on SAT scores and ECs. From what I can tell, I would say top notch schools are definitely a reach but it’s hard to say. Chance me? :slight_smile:

@Dzheims I know Brown is a reach. Brown is a reach for everyone. What about Vassar and Barnard. I never took the SAT.

If your ECs are spectacular, you have a good shot. But without knowing those, I can only say reaches for all of them. Good luck!

your ACT might really hurt you
