BE HONEST

Even with your strong course load- JHU is quite possibly the premed school in the entire country, therefore the number of people with similiar stats but higher GPA is likely to be significant. However, your research with NASA can play a huge role in separating you from the rest of the applicant pool- Low Reach- Reach

For Cornell it is much of the same thing- Low Reach-REACH

my advice would be to try to get your SATs up higher to help compensate and with your ECs that could definitely push you over the top

chance me back? :)

While you have great research and volunteering ECs, your GPA is below the average for both JHU and Cornell University. I would suggest you emphasize your biology-related ECs in your essay and application. Overall I would say that both JHU ED and Cornell CAS RD are slight reaches – but not unimaginable by any means.

Best of luck!

Chance me back? : )

I also forgot, I am an AP scholar
Which do I have a better chance of applying to ED? I am taking my SAT’s again next week! I’m hoping for a 2250-2300.

I think both schools are equally competitive and prestigious, but in my opinion JHU (Early Decision) would be relatively “easier” to gain admission to, compared to Cornell CAS. However, in the end, its up to you which school and curriculum you like better!

Best of luck again!

bumpp  I really would appreciate more feedback
