If you are a recruited baseball athlete this looks pretty good based on the rigor of the courses you took.

What is your unweighted GPA? They will want to know you can handle the academics at JHU over your time there.

If you have any AP scores that are 4s or 5s self report those.

Add any leadership roles you have had in Baseball or even informal coaching/mentoring of younger players.

Make sure to explain the outreach/impact of the Racial Equity Club so the AOs know it is not just a leadership title with a club that met a few times a month. I have helped some of our students with this because I knew how much more they were really doing and their application started to tell their story more.

Good Luck!

Alright, thanks,

My school doesn’t calculate unweighted, but it’s probably around a 3.9 because I have all As besides one b freshman year

Coach told us that I have a good shot because he wouldn’t put an athlete through admissions if he didn’t think they had a good chance

That is great. That is usually the case at this level. You should be good.

@Leoanderson850 Good luck! Stats look good and if you will be a recruited athlete I’m assuming that would be an entirely different process than a normal person like my D who was accepted into Class of 2025 BME. She had similar stats but I believe it was her ECs that really helped. Which would be your sports.

Let me know if you have any questions.

  • thank you so much!

What major? What’s your unweighted GPA. Do you have a test score?

Oh yeah ofc my major is Public Health and my UW GPA is 3.8. The test scores I submitted were 4s for World and US History

currently taking chem, calc, and lit!!

I meant SAT, ACT - my guess would be JHU is a no, assuming you applied test optional.

But as long as you have matches and safeties it’s fine.

There’s lot of Public Health programs - many are different or have different specialties.

I don’t see you getting accepted but I’m not an AO and maybe you will. Just make sure you have matches and safeties.

You should start your own thread, so as not to hijack someone else’s and to get more eyes on your post. When you do that, include your unweighted GPA, core courses only, on a 4 pt scale.
