Common App 9/10 put a lot of effort into this one
Why NU 8/10 kind of bland, talked about entrepreneurship opportunities.

Recs: Great from my teachers, counselor seemed to like me.

Please let me know what you think. I’m preparing myself for rejection because of my poor class rank, but, as they say, it ain’t over ‘til the fat lady sings! Thanks!

Everything seems good, and starting a business is pretty unique. You have also been published. I would be surprised if you didn’t get in, but you never know. UW GPA and class rank is probably the weak point. I personally don’t think those things seem that weak, or are that big of deal, but then again 91% of NU undergrads were in the top 10% of their HS class.

Fellow Weinberg ed applicant here. I also have coached at the b&g club, umpired little league, played varsity baseball, and have written and published sabermetrics research. We are very similar although I come from washington state. What’s your intended major?

Those northern corner states must love B&G coaches and baseball lol. I’ll probably end up majoring in econ.

Northwestern will 100% pay attention to your writing extracurriculars (they did to mine when I applied!) Honestly, the GPA is a weak point, but I know for a fact that Northwestern will take an earnest and friendly student over a type A one with a perfect GPA. Cheers!

@oldgeorgie same major and nearly identical stats lol let’s both get in
