Have you run the NPC? Can you afford to attend BU without taking on any debt at all? I would be very reluctant to take on any debt for a major that does not immediately lead to a well paying job.
What are your plans for after you get your bachelor’s in political science? Are you thinking of law school as an option? Can you afford to pay for this also with minimal debt?
Being out of state will not hurt you since BU is private. I think that your chances are reasonably good. I would not call it a safety. However, I would not apply ED there unless you are sure that you can afford it without debt.
Yes, I believe I can afford to attend BU. I am leaning towards law school as I am interested in double majoring in both Political Science and Criminal Justice. I am applying ED2 because BU is my top school, and money is not a big issue.
