Chance me? Engineering

Hey, everyone. I plan on deferring my decision on which focus of engineering to pursue.
I am an Indian-American (not to be confused with Native American) from California.
SAT I: 2200 composite
CR-780, M-740, W-700

SAT IIs: Math II:720 (retaking), US History:700, Chemistry:680

GPA: 3.95 UW, 4.25 W
Class rank: 3/402 (my school does not offer too many weighted courses)
APs: Physics B(10)-4, Calculus BC(11)-5, Calculus AB subscore(11)-5, Chemistry(11)-5, US History(11)-5, Environmental Science(12), Biology(12), Statistics(12), US Government(12), Literature and Composition(12)

Extracurricular Activities:
Speech and Debate president, 3 year exec board member. I also placed in the top 1/3 at the state championships in Congressional debate.

Started and have held presidency of Cancer Awareness Club for 3 years.

Vice President of California Scholarship Federation for last 2 years (honor roll like club).

Freshman orientation group leader.

4 years on varsity badminton.

Volunteer Experience:
Probably will have about 200 hours total by the time I apply.
So far, I have worked at a community center with autistic children for about 40 hours, volunteered at a museum for about 50 hours, and am currently organizing my own book drive and fundraiser to supply a library in Africa.

Work Experience:
8 week internship at a local non-profit dealing with education policy. Part of the Bank of America Student Leaders Program. This program was extremely selective (accepted 231/6600 applicants). I was selected based on my community involvement.

Thank you for taking the time to read all of this and evaluating me! I really appreciate any tips and comments you guys have for me.

As another Indian American, I can tell you that your chances are about 50/50. Engineering is a difficult major. You need strong math and physics. You have this with your 700+. However, upenn is harder–> 740 and 720 are relatively weak. But your calculus and physics ap make up for it. Also, your sat chem is a little low. However, your class rank is superb.

Overall:

Strengths: Class Rank, GPA, SAT Composite score
Weaknesses: You’re Asian Indian from California, Lack of Extracurricular Activities demonstrating engineering interest, subject test scores, sat math is a tad bit low

Can I ask you a question?
Is there an activity that you do because you are TRUELY interested and not just because you think it will polish your resume? Answer yes and you’re chances are golden. If not, start finding one plz

@Norvasc6: Thank for the feedback. I did end up applying to the College of Arts and Sciences undeclared instead.

@deathblade127: I would definitely say I am very interested/passionate in Debate and the volunteer work I do with autistic kids.
