Chance Me: Exeter, Andover, St. Paul's, Deerfield, and Groton

Hi!

I applied to all of the previous schools last year other than Groton, and I got waitlisted at Andover and Deerfield. I live in a rural area that has extremely poor schools, but I am the most talented any of the teachers seem to have ever seen (they frown upon almost every aspiration I have, like MIT, Calc as a sophomore, etc.).

My grades are as follows:

English Honors: A-
Spanish I: A+
Basic Drawing: A
Algebra II Honors: A+

I also took Geometry Honors online (A+) and I will soon begin AP Physics (A, B, and C) online through EPGY. I think I'll get very strong reccomendations, and I am the premier leader of my Boy Scout Troop and President of my Venturing Crew. I also play JV basketball and baseball. My essays will be good, but not over the top amazing (my writing is "very good," as my English teacher put it, but I doubt it will be better than most other applicant's). As for my SSAT scores, last year I got an 800 in math (99%), 93% in verbal, and 83% in reading, and I will take them in December again. I'm also taking PE/Health, Spanish II, and Government and Economics (Homogenous) next semester.

I'm also going to try to fit some community service in.

How do you think I'll do?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What do you do during the summer? do you have a part-time job? yes, community service is needed. Lastly, maker certain to check your spelling. (i.e. recommendations) Talk about your passion (s) and why you want to attend. Based on your comments, I assume for the challenge? In regard to your curriculum, is it the most rigorous available? I don’t see any history/social studies this semester.

oops, ironic- I told you to check spelling and then I made a typo (maker). LOL.
