You will likely have several options, provided the rest of your application (essays, inteviews) is strong. Whether or not you’ll get the Greene is another question. The committee considers the whole package, not just your grades and accomplishments. They also prefer to award the scholarship to applicants with at least some financial need. Mr. Greene, who passed away a couple of months ago, was an exceptionally kind and generous man. If you haven’t read his obituary, make sure that you do. His purpose was to make the gift of SPS education available to deserving kids from Alabama who may otherwise not be able to afford it. If you’re admitted, you’ll have a chance to interview with the Greene Scholarship committee. They will want to know about you, your character, your hopes and dreams. Being humble and true to yourself always helps. Good luck!

Thank you so much!
