Chance me for 8-yr med program?

So I'd really like to get into the University Scholars program and not have to worry about apply to med school, but it's insanely competitive...

I'm going to be a senior. Here's a brief summary of my stats.

2350 SAT (790 CR 770 M 800 W)
800 bio
770 math II
790 chemistry
740 spanish w/o listening

4.0 GPA (unweighted)
my school does not rank
I've basically taken the most challenging curriculum available at my private prep school.
3 AP classes this year, Bio, Spanish Lang, US (all 5s)
4 APs next year - most of anyone in my grade

100+ volunteer hours at hospital
Worked in lab past 2 summers - computational stuff at Boston U last summer, biology/stem cell work at Harvard Med School this summer

I've also demonstrated interest to WashU, since I've heard that that's important. I just returning from visiting and interviewing.

so what are my chances? Also, I'd love to be chanced for the 7 week research program in conjunction with HHMI for entering freshman, if anyone knows about that....and also for WashU in general; I guess that might help haha. Thanks!

I heard that about 3 people a year are chosen, and I’m sure that, while your stats are good, all the other top applicants will look quite similar on paper. It’s up to you to try and stand out when/if you are invited to interview for the USPM program

Thanks :)

More chances? I will chance back…

As leapinglizards said, there is no way anyone could potentially chance you for the USP. There’s maybe 5 a year.

Things that you probably couldn’t include in your post are what will determine who gets it.
