<p>Schools definitely like an upward trend, so that’s good. Your GPA is pretty low for Cornell. I know Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Stanford, etc… typically accept those with a 3.8+. Most top 20 schools would be the same.
Your SAT score is great, no need to retake it. It’ll definitely give you a boost as the average SAT at Cornell is about a 2100.
Your ECs will be about average for the students competitively applying to Cornell. Do everything you can to bring up your GPA and work on a killer essay. Also take SAT subject tests!</p>
