My top choice is the University of Portland (64% admission rate), and second is Portland State University (70% admission rate)
Also, any advice on how to improve? Besides bringing up my ACT score, I know I need to work on that!
Thank you!

Bump

Also, forgot to add EC: Art Club (4 years)

Alright, yes, bring up that ACT score into the thirties and you’ll have no problem with Portland.
Your DECA leadership and awards are very strong and hopefully you have a large amount of hours in your volunteer positions! Look for leadership positions in your current clubs though!

(sorry one last bump)

Why would you go to an LAC for marketing or accounting? Those are considered pre-professional majors, and are only rarely offered at LACs. You would do better to look at universities.

The universities I’m interested in (UW and WSU) are focused on research and their graduates, and their class sizes are bigger than the LACs I’m looking at, so the latter would just be a better fit for me. UPortland has a pretty good business department, not better than UW obviously, but I probably wouldn’t do as well just because of the environment.

Sorry, I was confused by the title of your post. “Chance Me for an LAC” implies that you want to know about LACs.

Oh, sorry about that! I had read some where that UP is somewhat considered to be a LAC because its focus is on undergraduates, doesn’t do a lot of research, is smaller, and offers an overwhelmingly amount of BAs compared to BSs, but I guess that’s not true unless you’re from an area that’s very familiar with UP
