anyone?

I think you have a fair chance. Annenberg I think is easier to get into than most USC schools. However, in my opinion, one thing that really made my profile stand out when I applied is that I had professional and volunteer experience in my field. So if you can get a job with a local press or just volunteer at something that requires communication skills. For me, I’m a broadcast journalism major and here’s the journalism experience I had when I applied:

Sports writer for local newspaper for 2 years
Play by play twitter updater for a local minor league professional baseball team for one season
Assistant producer at local radio station for about one month
Volunteer announcer at youth baseball and football games
Volunteer broadcaster for JR basketball
Online sports radio talk show host

The first three were paid jobs while the others were solely volunteer. Basically, show you have passion for your field!

Thank you so much @thesportsman24‌ ! I will try and see if I can get some experience in my field… I am in charge of all promotion and advertising for my high school (and I want to go into public relations or advertising) but that is all I got right now… Thanks for the feedback!
