Chance me for App State, NC State, or UNC Wilmington chances?

I’m a junior who just started thinking about college a few months ago. Reality hit after a bad string of grades. Two C’s and a B! Regardless, I’m back on track trying to improve my study habits. I already screwed up some this semester so I’m aiming for, at least, 3 B’s and 1 C to finish up. The schools mentioned above are in my top 3 schools and I would really like someone’s opinion. Anyway here are my stats:

get your ACT up

Yea I barely studied for it and I’m currently kicking myself for not studying. I’m sure if I put in some more effort I could nail at least a 26 on it. My biggest problem is reading. Math isn’t too hard for me but I might be the slowest reader in my entire class.

First of all, congrats on all of those personal achievements - they’re all awesome!

College-wise, I’d say your top priority should be raising the ACT score and sitting the SAT at least once, as some people do better on one test than the other. I’d recommend taking the ACT either in June or September and the SAT in June, though obviously it’s up to you. As for the reading section - look up tips for improving reading speed; if you improve your speed you’ll likely do better on that portion of the test.

Good luck!
