<p>My school does not rank, and our grading system is difficult to understand. But, to put it in perspective, 1/3 of our graduating class goes to Ivies, and maybe 40% to Ivy+MIT and Stanford. I'm in the top 30% of my graduating class. </p>

Varsity Softball -- Varsity Letters, Conference Champions (4 years)
Newspaper -- One of the section editors, HUGE commitment. 16 hrs/wk (Board member, 3 years)
Proctor for girls in my dorm. Pretty coveted position. Basically a full-time job.
Community Service -- Tutoring and volunteering at historical societies (75 hours or so)
Concert Pianist -- 12 years, performed in around 100 concerts
Historical Club -- Founded my town's historic preservation club to try to save an abandoned school in my neighborhood and campaign for landmark status. (President/Founder, 4 years)
Online Lit Mag -- Correspondent and staff writer for one, also started my own (EIC/Founder, 4 years)</p>
<p>I'm one of the few people still campaigning for this building in my town to be saved. It means the world to me--I think I might write about it in my essays. I'm in charge of planning, making merchandise to raise money, and spreading awareness. </p>
<p>Awards:
School's French Award (Huge deal to get a schoolwide award at my school)
Named one of the top advocates for historic education in my region
Town-wide citizenship and community award
National French Exam, placed nationally
Young Professional Award from my music school (5 years in a row)</p>
