Chance me for:
Boston College
Boston University

Cornell
NYU Stern
Northeastern
Brandeis
Villanova
Clemson
Emory

Thanks, I appreciate it. I will chance back!

It seems like you love Massachusetts huh? hehe me too. I’m applying to almost the exact same schools, good luck  You have really good scores and I think most of the schools you’ve chosen are definite matches (BC, BU, Northeastern, Villanova, Brandeis) but I’m not sure about the rest. I would say low reach for Cornell and NYU. I don’t know about Emory, Clemson or Fordham. Chance me back please? I posted mine today, thank you!

Boston College- match
Boston University- match
Fordham- match/safety
Cornell- low/med reach
NYU Stern- low reach/high match
Northeastern-high match
Brandeis- match
Villanova- match
Clemson- match
Emory-low reach

You’re a strong candidate with a realistic shot at all of these schools. You have strong scores and course rigor. Youre UW GPA is going to be a weakness, but other than that your application is solid. Your ECs are a bit standard as they are likely not going to help or hurt you. Good luck!

I’m just going to do a list, because typing paragraphs is tiring, haha

Boston College: High Match
Boston University: Match
Fordham: Match
Cornell: Reach
NYU: Match
Northeastern: Match
Brandeis: Match
Villanova: Don’t know this school
Clemson: Safety…? Not too sure about this school
Emory: Reach (it’s been progressively harder to get in here, unfortunately)

Nice picking out of these schools! You’ve got a solid list of mostly matches! I commend you on that! Good luck, I know you’ll get into a lot of these haha

Chance me back?

You should be safe everywhere but BC and Emory. You have a chance at both thought. Chance me please: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1424351-chance-me-please-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

Most of these schools would be high matches for you and you have a very good chance of getting into most of them. Your GPA may hurt you a little bit like at Cornell, BC, and NYU, but your SAT is good and you have a good chance of getting into most.

Boston College - Match
Boston University - Low Match/Safety
Fordham - Low Match

sorry these are the only ones i’m familiar enough with! good luck!

Boston College-match
Boston University-match/safety
Fordham- match/safety
Cornell-high reach
NYU Stern-match/reach
Northeastern-match
Brandeis-match
Villanova- I don’t know anything about Villanova so I dont feel comfortable chancing you
Clemson-match
Emory-reach

Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the chances. I’ll still be chancing back to anyone who chances me.

Tufts and Holy Cross are 2 great academic schools in Massachusetts.

I’m not really interested in liberal arts schools, although I would consider Tufts for economics. I really have no interest in Holy Cross though. I’m not too religious, despite a few of the schools I’m interested in.

I think most are matches/high matches besides Emory and cornell. I’d put them both at about a low/mid reach. Best of luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1416636-chance-me-please-jhu-ed-cornell-etc-2.html#post15161031</a></p>

Thanks. What can I do to increase my chances for Boston College, hopefully making it a match, and bringing Cornell down to a slightly more realistic very high match/very low reach?

Boston College, Fordham, Georgetown and Holy Cross are all run by the same Catholic religious order - the Jesuits. Holy Cross just sounds more religious because of the name.

bc is a catholic school.

Boston College - match
Boston University - low match
Fordham - high safety
Cornell - reach
NYU Stern - high match
Northeastern - low match
Brandeis - low match
Villanova - low match
Clemson - safety
Emory - low reach

chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1428396-chances-uva-tech-nyu-columbia-stanford.html</a></p>

Oh really? I knew they were all religiously affiliated, I just assumed that Holy Cross was more religious, for whatever reason. Either way, I’m an atheist. If I were to go to one of the religious schools I listed like BC or Fordham, would I be treated differetly, or are the people there generally very accepting? I’m also hoping that the curriculum doesn’t contain a large amount of religious bias, which I highly doubt, but I live near Bob Jones University in South Carolina, and I’ve seen a lot from there.

Also, what can I do to improve my chances of getting into those high match/low reach schools next year?

Thanks.

Hey could you chance me back, please? Just so it’s fair. (I chanced you above)
