WORK EXPERIENCE:
I worked for my dad over the summer. I designed the website and business plan for his new real estate company.

I know that Stanford is a pretty big reach, but will my ECs, recs, and essays be able to pull me through? I think my recs and essays will both be pretty good.

Your ECs will not be enough to counteract the 1990 for Stanford so high reach. For USC and BC I would disagree with the other guys and say low reach.

might look at Holy Cross top25 LAC 1 HOUR from Boston. Holy Cross has great academics and is also SAT optional. Holy Cross has fantastic alumni network for jobs and beautiful campus. imo HC has better academic reputation than BC.

I feel like you should have a pretty good chance for BC IF you applied early. Not as sure about USC and I would guess Stanford is a huge reach with that test score.

I applied early action to BC so I’m really hoping to get in. I had an interview with USC if that helps. Yeah, I know that Stanford is a huge reach but I though I’d apply anyway.

11th grade: AP US History (A), Algebra 2 (A+), Trigonometry (A), British Literature (A-), Shakespeare (A-), Spanish 3-Honors (A), Chemistry (A), Yearbook (A), GPA: 4.25

12th grade (so far): AP Microeconomics (A), Precalculus (A), AP English Literature (B+), AP Spanish (A-), AP Physics B (A), Yearbook (A), GPA: 4.5

Cumulative GPA through junior year: 4.09
Cumulative GPA through senior year (so far): 4.19

You have like a 1 percent chance for stanford.

I think USC is a realistic reach for you/target. You’re SAT1 scores are low for Standford, USC, and BC. but because everything else is high, it can be forgiven.

If you have a strong essay and strong recommendations, then USC is a really good chance. And Boston College is probably a target. BC cares a lot about the fit of the student so if you fit, your academics will probably bring you through and you’ll get into BC. USC is a little harder for you than BC but both really good possibilities
