Strong essays for most except Michigan (writing is my passion)

I’m pretty sure you will get into these schools. You should have a very strong application. Just check the requirements for these schools and the recommendations for the classes and I’m sure you should get in. You have a very good chance I am sure. But in my opinion, Great Job and I am happy writing is your passion!!!

Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate it and we will hopefully see.

We will see!

Brown and Penn’s admission rates are what, 5-6%? UCLA, Michigan, and Berkeley aren’t that far behind that. Those are daunting odds for any unhooked applicant no matter what your stats and EC’s, so no one can be “pretty sure you will get into these schools.” Take your shot, but manage your expectations and make sure you have some match and safety schools on your list that you can afford. Good luck and congratulations on your accomplishments.

Thank you my friend! I am an URM if that helps…

For UCs …

For 2019, applicants with weighted-capped GPA >= 4.20 had admission rates of 38% to UCB and 35% to UCLA.

If you are applying to L&S, then these should be reasonable chance estimates (of course, essays, extracurriculars, etc. matter, but outsiders like people here cannot tell you how your essays compare with others in the applicant pools). The engineering divisions should be considered to be more difficult to get admitted to.

URM is not a UC consideration. Are you a CA resident, First Generation and Low income? This could help.

URM will definitely help for Brown, Penn, and Michigan.
