Your SAT score is a bit below average for NYU as is your GPA unweighted. Weighted is above average by a bit. You show commitment to a few good ECs instead of a laundry list of 20 activities so that’s good. If you can get 4s or 5s on your APs and mid to high 700s on Math II and History, you have a decent shot. You’re above average in terms of grades for Boston University so you have a good shot at that school too. Keep on pushing!
Actually, your UW GPA is below average for BU (average is 3.6), but given they like strong upward trends (especially if you’ve done well in AP classes) and your M+CR score is above their average (while your M+CR+W score is just within in their median), I’d say you’ve got a really good shot at getting in.
But I’m confused: you can’t apply ED to more than one school. Did you already do NYU ED 1 back in November? Or did you mean ED II? Either way, you can’t apply to both ED II… I’d say you’d have a better shot at BU than NYU (which is more hardline with stats).
I don’t think you should apply to Stern with your grades and scores, as you will likely be rejected. You would have a better shot at CAS and major in Economics.
