Chance me for Boston University, ED2, class of 2024

Hello! Boston University is my dream school and top pick. However, BU is sort of a reach school for me. Please tell me what you think my chances are of admission!
I’m applying to the Wheelock College of Education.

Here is my academic record and course rigor:
4.05 Weighted GPA
3.6 Unweighted GPA
Rank: 20 of 180
I am a senior, taking a mix of college prep and AP classes. Sophomore year I took AP Human Geography, and AP Biology. Junior year I took APUSH, AP Language and Comp. This year I’m taking AP Gov and Politics, and AP Environmental Science, and AP Literature and Comp.
I’ve had relatively good grades, with a mix of high A’s and B’s (largely A’s). My one worry is my C+ letter grade in Honors Geometry my Sophomore year. This is my only C.

Here are my Test Scores:
1360 SAT
690 Math
670 CR/W

I have strong extracurriculars and lead many clubs.

My essays are pretty strong and give insight into my home-life and aspirations in life.

My letters of recommendations are strong, and I’ve won many academic awards.

Thanks for reading!

Hey!!
I was recently admitted to BU ED1 and had similar scores and gpa to yours but my unweighted was like a 3.8 and my ACT was a 31. I think that you have a really good chance for admissions especially with your strong essays, extracurriculars, and rec letters which I think all play a big role in admissions. One thing that I think is really important is the why BU supplement so really grind that one out. Overall i think that you have a strong shot!!!

Thank you so much!
I just finished up my application. I think both of my essays are very strong and informative. I’m really banking on them, as well as my extra extracurriculars to set me apart. I also attached a resume in the optional question that gives the option to add additional materials.
Wish me luck in such a large pool of applicants!

Honestly, you’re at a 50/50. Can go either way and there is a lot of randomness in the admissions process but definetely keep your eye out for other schools. Best of luck!

Are you accepted to BU?
