I just transferred from a private parochial school in Utah to a public school in California for my senior year (family issues).

In Utah, I was involved in Choir, String Orchestra, Drama and the local youth group. I have around 400 service hours throughout that community. I was first chair violist for three years, superior at competition two times. 1 year as a member of Quiz Bowl, 1 year as President. I'm also a member of NHS.

6 years of science credits along with an internship in a Neuroscience Research Lab for a summer.

In Cali, I've signed up for marching band (marimba) and percussion ensemble. I've also gotten involved with a local charity organization.

I am a hispanic, upper middle-class, female.

What are my odds of getting in with a major in Biochemistry? Are my odds any better with early decision application?
