Chance me for CalTech, UCLA, USC?

ALSO: If possible, what are my chances of being granted major merit scholarships? I do not qualify for need-based aid but am aiming for the "big" grants like the Trustee's at USC and Regents at UCLA...

Current Grade: 11
GPA: 4.19 (will go to about 4.29 after this semester) (my school has a strange weighting system...they add .025 for every AP passed with a C or better)
UC GPA: 4.56 (will go above 4.6 after this semester)
Ethnicity: White (Iranian-American if that makes any difference...)
Gender: F

IN STATE

MAJOR: Biochemistry (or Biology, probably biochem though) with intent to later attend pharmacy school

LEGACY: Dad, Uncle, and Dad's cousin both attended USC as students. A bunch of my cousins are also either current students or alumni (don't know if this matters). Dad was a professor there for a couple of years. Dad's cousin has been a financial donor for USC since his graduation.

Academically competitive but slightly weak ec’s. USC and UCLA would be a low reach/match. I don’t know enough about CalTech but good luck with your applications!

Thanks for your input  What would you suggest I could do to better my ECs? More leadership…diversity…

bumpppp

@crystal19 you’re already in the latter half of your junior year, so don’t start anything new, that seems a bit ridiculous. Do something you love, or focus on getting live experience for essays.
