Thanks! Chanced back!

I think you’ll definitely get in! The only thing I can see holding you back would be the Asian ethnicity. That makes it tough at places like CMU with high Asian populations that may want to cut their numbers. But a 2200 applying early to CMU seems to be dang near a slam dunk!

Chance me back?

Thanks! Chanced back

@shinramen makes a great point about Asian and female offsetting at CMU!!! I hadn’t thought of that! You’re golden!!!

As long as you aren’t going for the computer science school I think you’ll likely get in. If not, then it’s a high match/low reach.

Lol i’m already strugglin in my AP Comp Sci class, so nope. Thanks!

Thanks Chanced back!

I’d say you have a fairly good shot of getting in. My friend in high school got into Carnegie Mellon (she’s studying there now, actually) and her SAT scores were 2220. She also had a GPA above or near a 4.00, and graduated salutatorian–though her extra curricular activities weren’t nearly as impressive as yours.

Really awesome shot at Carnegie Mellon!!! Everything is on point. The one thing that’s a little low is GPA but I think that can definitely be overlooked with all of the extracurriculars you have going for you as well as your awesome SAT. Good luck!!! Chance me back?

It would be nice if you chanced me back, too I have a thread in this forum titled “Gettysburg College” lol

Thanks everyone! Chanced all back
