Chance me for Carnegie Mellon. Horrible gpa:(

I want to apply to CMU for the INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROGRAM.
Most likely Early Decision, if that will increase my chances.
I just ended junior year with a 3.55 uw gpa. Here are my grades(Carnegie doesn't count freshman year):

10

World History: A/A+
Spanish: A-/B
AP Calculus AB: C+/C+
English: A-/A-
Biology: A+/A

11

AP Lit: B+
Chem: B+
AP Stats: B
Spanish: B
AP Comp. Sci: B-
US History: A+

So pretty much all my grades were borderline and every single one was brought down by finals. I don't even have any good excuses. Just that my study strategies have been the same since middle school (no studying = good grades) and I finally realized that and changed my ways! Also teachers at my school are EXTREMELY biased and bitter and just plain bad. Too bad it's too late :(

Here are my standardized testing scores:

ACT: 35 composite
SAT(projected using practice tests): 2250-2350

AP Calc AB: 5
AP Lit: haven't taken yet
AP Comp Sci: haven't taken yet
AP Stats: haven't taken yet

SAT Math 2: 780
SAT Biology: Haven't taken yet but biology is my strength so I will most likely do good

Sorry for such a long post, I'm really really really really really worried about my gpa:(
I hope everything else will make up for it.

Thank you to anyone who actually reads through this post:) :)

Sorry I am new to the chancing thing but you say you got a C+ in AP calc yet got a five on the exam? In those conditions, correct me if I am wrong, most teachers will change your grade into an “A” because you proved yourself capable of handling the material. You should ask your counselor about such a policy.

Also, your EC’S and test scores are amazing, you have a great chance but I think your GPA might put you on a tight end.
Good luck?

thx, but my school doesn’t have that policy. my calc teacher said, “5 on ap test doesn’t equal ‘A’ student in my class”

Aaly222: Yeah, at my school, usually ~50 kids take BC Calc each year, and everyone but 1 kid gets a 5. In fact, almost 50% of people who take BC Calc get a 5. Does that mean you automatically get an A? Nope. The average at my school is probably a B+/B.
