<p>Class Rank: Just outside top 10% (6/57), but school doesn’t report rank or any means of estimating rank. </p>

<p>SAT I = 2210 (750 CR, 720 M, 740 W)
SAT II: 770 US History, 760 Math II</p>

<p>PSAT National Merit Semi-Finalist (so far)</p>

<p>ACT= 32</p>

<p>AP Tests taken so far: 5 on US Government, 5 on Comparative Government, 5 on US History.</p>

<p>AP Tests to be taken this year: AP Calc BC, AP Statistics, AP European History, AP World History, AP English Literature, AP English Language</p>

<p>ECs:

  • Model UN: 4 years, president this year, several awards, international competitions
  • Mock Trial: 3 years, president this year, district 2nd place, lead attorney
  • Philosophy club: President and co-founder (I discuss philosophy a lot in my essay)
  • National Honor Society: 3 years
  • Class Vice President: sophomore year
  • School Vice President: senior year
  • Yearbook: 2 years, cover artist, graphic designer</p>

<p>My schedule this year is definitely the most rigorous of any senior at my school, but rigor during freshman and sophomore years was average to slightly above average (this happened because I changed from a public school to a private school right before 9th grade, basically making me ineligible for more rigorous classes during freshman and sophomore years). That is probably the biggest downside to my app. </p>

<p>Essay demonstrates my passion for philosophy. The quality of my writing is pretty solid. </p>

<p>Letters of rec, from what I can tell, are excellent. </p>

<p>I think you have a very good shot of being admitted to CSOM RD. Besides being slightly outside of the top 10% (which I honestly don’t think is going to hurt you since your school doesn’t report rank, plus you’re almost in it), everything looks good.</p>
