Chance me for COE?

I'm a second-generation indian applying to cornell engineering RD.

Academics:
GPA: 4.5 Weighted, 3.8 Unweighted (This is what I'm kinda worrying about. I screwed up a little Junior year second semester, and got two B's when sophomore and freshman year I had only 1 for the whole year.)
SAT: 2380 (800 Math, 800 CR, 780 English - 10 on essay)
SAT II: 800 Math II, 800 Chem, 800 Bio
ACT: 36 Composite (36's in everything but reading, which I got a 34 on)
Courseload: the most rigorous my school has, im pretty sure
AP's: Will have completed 12-14 AP level courses by the end of the year, so far have 7 5's I'll be submitting
Academic Honors: NSMC Semifinalist (so far!), ISAC state scholar, NHS, Latin HS, will be Presidential Scholar candidate

ECs:
Chess: won several local tournaments and captain of school team
Scho Bowl: varsity captain of a competitive team
Math Team: state qualifier for 2 years so far, co-captain and sophomore mentor
Robotics: co-captain of state qualifying team (for FIRST Tech Challenge)
Business Professionals of America: last year, national qualifier for java contest, currently president of school chapter
WYSE: state placer (4th) for computer science

More tests: a very large slew of latin tests (NLE, ILT, CLE, MME, other acronyms)
AIME Qualifier sophomore year

Interests/Courses/Misc
Demonstrated strong interest in computer science and programming, which is where I'm aiming for in cornell. Took a course on AI at Stanford U, member of a school app design company called Gigastorm, created several websites and state qualifier for BPA web application team.
Volunteer work mainly comes from my local Jain temple, where i do a lot of youth leadership and teaching positions in addition to service (about 90 hours)
Math: private tutor as well as tutor for school resource center, math teaching assistant for an algebra I class.
Employed by my dad's cardiology practice as a systems assistant and currently working on its website

Teach recs: one very strong, the other is by a teacher that really likes me but may not be the best writer (Computer Science and math respectively)

no interview (decided to apply to cornell kinda late, not sure if still possible)

Ethnicity: Indian, Income bracket: high (not looking for financial aid).
Essays focused on developing a chess Artificial Intelligence for stanford course, and on the influence jainism (my religion) and latin have had on my life, and specific plans to pursue in cornell.

Basically, I think I'm hindered by my non-perfect grades as compared to other applicants, as well as my lack of huge awards/recognition, i.e. on a national level. No athletics or music outside of hobbies (I play tennis and piano for fun). What do you guys think?

You should get in! I got into engineering ED with far from perfect grades and scores 3.7/4.23weighted and 33 act and 690 math II, 710 history, and 760 bio. I know not everyone is so lucky to get in with my scores but just make sure your essays are good because I think thats what got me in and you should be fine.

I’d say that you have a high chance of acceptance. As long as you show you have a passion for Cornell and engineering, then you should be set

You have a really high chance.

Make sure your essays show interest and you’ll be a competitive applicant.

I think you would be a good candidate for MIT!!!

I am quite sure you will get in. You have a perfect SAT score for Cornell!! (1600)
Just wondering, what exactly do you mean by a “second generation indian”?

Anyways, my advice would be to aim higher. MIT, Caltech and stuff. You should definitely get into Cornell. With those SAT scores, I don’t think your essays will be bad. Best of luck!
