Ethinicity: Asian
Gender: female
School: most competitive IB program in the province( or in the country?)
rank: school doesn't rank.
IB predicted: should be 40 or higher
Percentile: top 5-10%?
SAT: retake in Oct ( should be between 2250-2350)
SAT2 Math : 800
physics and bio: take in nov , should be double 800 based on current practice test score
EC:
In School: most involved in fundraising and marketing
Habitat for humanity: vice president of marketing and public relationship
School newspaper: vice president of marketing
School yearbook: co-president</p>

<p>You have very high scores and good ECs. As long as you prove you are really involved in at least some of them, you are ok. Don't worry about the awards. There are many applicants who don't have any. I think you are in.</p>

<p>i think the marketing research is something that will stand out...but it is not really like a research paper or something extremely sophisicated...i need to look for and select information for the database that provides information for educational and job opportunities for people with mental illness..
can someone else give me some advice?</p>

<p>if your projected SAT score and SAT II score are correct, you are academically, very qualified to be a columbia student.</p>

<p>however, your ecs hurt you a bit. make sure youre committed to them, and perhaps write an essay about your commitment?</p>

<p>because its all ED, you have, overall, a decent shot</p>
