chance me for cornell? =) or will the gpa just kill me =(

Hye guys, I just sent in all my stuff last minute to Cornell because I visited Ithaca and ended up lovinggg Cornell. But I'm really unsure about my chances, my SAT's are par with Cornell but nothing special and my GPA might be a killler.

Here are my stats:

GPA - Weighted: 92/100 (I have noo idea unweighted sorry!)
Class Rank: top 9%
Class Size: 245
the school sends a large number of kids to competitive colleges.

Scores:

SAT I Math: 720
SAT I Critical Reading: 710
SAT I Writing: 740

took SAT II's in math I 700 (badd) and Lit 780 (yay)

my essay was well reviewed by my peers ( all AP classes read everyones essays and rate them at my school)

Never been in a class lower than honors, but my school does not offer many AP's so I'm only able to take AP Lit and AP Calc, I took AP US Hist last year and got a 4 on the test.

Significant Extracurriculars:
Cheerleading Captain,
Business Editor of Yearbook
NHS member
Relay for Life 4x Leader
President of French National Honor Society
Cheerleading and Gymnastics Coach
Film Club VP
Gymnastics Team

Awards:
Commended Scholar
Century Club

FrenchNHS
Most Determined and Most Positive Attitude for Cheerleading
Freshman Award for Gymnastics

Any feedback at all would be great! I'm applying to William and Mary, American, St Joes University in Philly, Northeastern and BC and I got into Villanova early. Anything else ya wanna throw in go for it. Thanks!

I wouldn't say you look like a super-strong applicant on paper, but you certainly have a chance. I think Cornell could use more of the "cheerleading captain" type (as opposed to "math team captain"). Hopefully the admissions committee feels the same way. Best of luck.

haha thanks ajkates
