Bummpp... please somebody reply.

...just apply. your chances are good as anyone elses

Never hurt to try

In terms of chances I think it is very good...however anything goes really.

BUMP... please anybody else.... gimme' some feedback.

Your chances are good. The regular decision pool, however, will most likely be super competitive. You can expect to see a several thousand fold increase in applications, and that's on top of the insane increase last year. Your extracurriculars are good but don't particularly stand out from anyone elses. In a nutshell, you don't have an exclusive niche: you're more well-rounded. Your SAT II's are impressive as is your Math SAT I score. Your verbal score, however, is just average. Consider taking the new SAT if analogies was a weak side for you on the old SAT. Your courseload is good but your rank and class size suggest your school is really small. Is it particularly competitive (like private) or is it small and rural? This will make a difference on your chances too. The Staples work experience is good and shows you have a work ethic. Though Harvard, MIT etc. are reaches for anybody, consider applying. Your proximity to these schools would make you an attractive candidate since they admit a much higher rate of people in their surrounding communities.

wow, so Cornell will have over a million people applying? ;)

Thank you spudkid... that was one of the best responses I've received in a long time. Naww, analogies weren't a weak side for me on the old SAT I, they were actually one of my best areas on the Verbal part of that test. Yeah, my school is quite small (about 746 kids) and my class is ridiculously, and I mean RIDICULOUSLY competitive. My older brother went to and graduated from the same school and he had the same rank as I did with like a 3.9 weighted GPA. Anyways, thanks again for the comment.... anyone else is more than welcome to reply.

Bump... I don't even know why I'm bumping, even if I get it, I'm probably not gonna' go here... but bump anyways.

What is your unweighted GPA or how does your school calculate weighted GPA? That would help in accessing your chances.

My unweighted GPA is about a 3.83/4.0, or a 91.06/100, however you wanna count it.

In that case, I think your chances are very good.

Thanks chocolateluvr88... I hope you're right...
