Chance me for Cornell?

GPA: 3.86
SAT: 1940 (taken only once; will take again in March); 580 CR, 720 M, 640 W
Throughout freshman and sophomore year I took only honors courses with the exceptions of Intro to Photo, Orchestra and Varsity Choir. I got all As and A-s, 2 B+s, and 1 B
APs: English Langauge, English Literature, APUSH, Chemistry, Statistics, Physics C, Calculus BC, European History, Art History, French
SAT II:
Math I - 720
plan on taking Math II, Chemistry, US History, French
Honor Societies: National Honor Society, Math, History, French, Music
Top 15% of class (possibly top 10%, I honestly have no idea. I only know that the top 15% get into NHS)
Candidate for National Merit Scholarship
My ECs however are very weak and one dimesional for I have always been lazy and showed lack of compassion for almost everything.
ECs: Select Choir, Spring Musicals, All-County Choir, All-State Choir, participation in various other choruses, sang at Carnegie Hall before.

I am an Asian girl who comes from what would be considered a high-income household. I am in-state. I'm aware Cornell does show favor to in-state students and gives them more substantial aid. I go to a very good public high school where the acceptance rate into Cornell is over 40%.

I can’t seem to edit this post, but I also tutor low-income children for free and the summer of my freshman year I volunteered at a senior rehabilitation center near my home.

I’ll give you an honest chance.

3.86 GPA is kinda decent, but, your SAT score is very so-so. You class rank is also difficult - most of the ivy league basically need top 10%.

ECs are very important, and you seem to be lacking them. But, apparently your HS has a 40% rate for Cornell, so you never know.

I think maybe a low-mid reach?

The lack of ECs are going to hurt your chances, it is a reach…
