I am an international and have asked for aid more than $30,000 I wrote my personal essay on how a disastrous earthquake changed my perspective of life and made me what I am

I got one of my professors at the summer program to write one reccomendation and the other one should be good too. I have already been accepted at RIT, College of St. Benedict's and valparaiso university, with the maximum scholarships these universities give to internationals! I'll be very grateful for your responses!!

Scores are too low for Dartmouth and Yale. Other wise you have a great application, but that SAT is just way too low to make up for it. If it was 150 points higher, it might have been overlooked. Also financial aid makes it amazingly harder.

I think the previous posters were too pessimistic. Dont give up hope, SAT scores are just a small portion of the application. If you really wrote an essay on how a disastrous earthquake changed your perspective of life and made you what I am, then you have a more than decent chance of admission.

Thanks a lot boxofchocolates. Thank you for giving me some hope.
And yes I did write my essay on that. And I love me essay. Came straight from my heart.

What other responses do you want? The other posters have already said what you’ve asked for “What are my chances for Dartmouth Yale and union college?”

You’re unlikely to get into Dartmouth and Yale.

A Weirdo you are.
And yes I know I won’t get in. But it’s never wrong to ask for more opinions. If it bothers you so much, then why’d you bother to respond?
Peace.

dont completely lose hope… if you have properly conveyed in your app the kind of environment in which you have achieved everything so far, any college will be really impressed! Besides, its never wrong to try your luck at your dream college :)
