<p>To be honest, it means something different to everyone. For me it’s a school you have a shot at and will be competitive, but there’s so many other good applicants it wouldn’t be surprising if you were deferred or rejected. Some people on here said duke was a match for me and others said it was a reach. Everything is super subjective. I can tell you there were people with better stats and ecs than me that got rejected. It’s all extremely subjective and there really isn’t anyone that can tell you if you will get in or not. As you can see by my thread, my application resonated with some and didn’t resonate with others. Luckily for me, it resonated with duke!</p>
